I'm wrong. I just looked and it was 3,000 but still this looks like a pretty great release with the hard box. I wouldn't sleep on it.

I feel the same way. I just discovered the genre a couple years ago. But the positive side of discovering it now is there's never been a better time to see these films in all their glory thanks to so many of them hitting blu-ray in such quality. I"m sure this will look outstanding thanks to Arrow. I already own their Deep Red disc and it's fantastic.

Funny thing is, I just saw this film for the first time a couple months ago. This is a definite purchase for me. It will probably be a bit more than I should spend on it, but that set looks outstanding.

Now if they'd just re-do Inferno, and Fulci's Gates of Hell trilogy....

Very cool. Great to see many Argento films get the treatment they deserve.

Wasn't Deep Red UK only though? This is multiple territories (UK, US, CAN), so I'd think there might be more to satisfy demand.

I'll probably preorder it though. Haven't seen it yet, but I love all my other Argentos.

For sure one of the best straightforward giallis and absolutely worth owning if you're a fan of the genre and Argento.

Technically, the LE of Deep Red was meant to be UK only, but it ended up being mistakenly encoded as region free.

That said, Crystal Plumage's LE run is supposed to be much larger (3000 for Deep Red, compared to 8000 for both the UK and US runs). I'm still going to pre-order it, despite having both the Blue Underground release and the initial Arrow release (that one for the extras).

Arrow is doing great of late, very interested in this despite already owning the BU. A real pity though, as with their Deep Red remaster release, only mono audio tracks will be available.

No, scratch that: I rather like the multichannel audio mix on the BU.

Code Red is redoing City of the Living Dead. The Beyond is the one I'd really like to see redone, but I don't know if it will happen given Grindhouse released it much more recently than BU did the other two.

Can't wait to pick this up. I do wish they waited and put out an Argento box set with 4k transfers but I'll take what I can get. Anyone know when the US version goes up for pre-order?

I don't like simple blu-ray cases with just the movie. That's absolutely boring as a collector.
