The original plan was to present a TOP 50. After taking a close look at the results, the total absence of both unsolvable ties and an expected gap between the popular ones and the leftovers screamed for a TOP 70. Too many beautiful and clearly beloved titles would have been left out otherwise.

Members who love to compare their lists with the results, can go nuts next week. I will post the complete TOP 200+ when the countdown is over and the winner is up.

It's too late now to include your list, since I'm too far with making the templates right now. But feel free to send me your list anyway and I can always calculate how it would have influenced the list afterwards. If not, you can still enjoy the results.

Really fun visuals. Really nice job.

Sadly most of my movies didn't even crack the top 70, even though I put them really high on my list, solely for them to have a fighting chance.

But I'm pretty sure my #1 pick will be #1. And even if it isn't #1, it will be top 3 for sure.

Well headphones, you might be surprised by just a few of them.

It was interesting to see how people voted. Some voted Disney only, others voted completely anti-Disney, few voted completely out of the box by putting up those who weren't popular at all (I did too for one or two titles), ... One thing was very clear to me while counting most of the time, the generation the voting member is from. It made the results more surprising.

Wish that Porco Rosso and Howl's Moving Castle were much higher, the latter especially. But I'm really glad they placed somewhere, that's what counts.

That's why I went for a TOP 70, knowing they are loved by many.

Well, there's more Ghibli to come, who knows where they end up. I certainly feel the desire to check them out as soon as possible now.

VHD only 63? Aww.

Even if you're not an anime fan, that's one of the cult animated films of the 80s. I still can't believe Cartoon Network used to run it back in its infancy. Good times.
