Default Wal-mart black friday deal

Perhaps i was dreaming, but last night while watching Hero's the wal-mart commerical said that they would be matching any advertised early bird specials on friday I can only imagine how much that is going to add to the already chaotic day if this is true.

Yea, I'd rather just go to the retailer that run the ad first. Wal-Mart is always crazy and wouldn't even think about going on a day like Black Friday...

The one plus to wal-mart is you actully get to wait in line in the store instead of waiting outside in the cold. Even then some times i would rather deal with the cold then crowds though.....

Tempting, but remember in therms of Walmart, they don't share the same exact serial numbers for televisions. Often times an X or something has been added or modified to denote something slightly different. I am not too familiar though with how it works.

That being said, I have no desire to get there early. I will roll up at 9am and hope there is still an Iron Man available. Although if people rush in line and price match the 9.99 then there probably wont be

Thank god I have no money to really spend and no desire for anything this Black Friday. Walmart is ridiculous. I will just sit in my house watching the news about tramplings and fist fights.

I just called and spoke to the Wal-Mart manager in my town here in NC and did CONFIRM that they WILL be matching ANY advertise price for ANY retailer.

I ask if I needed to bring the ad copies with me to get the match and he said NO... He said that they will have copies of all retailers Black Friday Ads in hand and be able to pull them.

Food for thought...

Wow,...

WalMart was the only place I was thinking of going on Friday but I may skip it. I can't decide. I'm sure my Walmart will be the very definition of a nut house that day (more than it usally is.)

Maybe your local Walmart but I doubt all stores can accomodate this. Curious, how can Walmart let in hundreds of customer and hold them in the front entrance or the lobby b4 the store opens?

this is a great concept. This would keep shoppers from trying to decide which store to hit first. This is like being in 5 stores at once. Take all your ads from Best Buy, CC, K-Mart, Sears, Target, etc and buy everything in one place. I might just get up early for this.

Pretty cool. If I go anywhere it will be Wal-Mart now. I'm still holding out hope for a massive Amazon sale..

2 things to consider here if you ask me

... Walmart (at least my local Walmart which is not a "super center" one) doesn't have a lot of the stuff you will find on BF else where. Stuff at BestBuy and Staples may not be at WalMart.

...Walmart on BF is really a zoo. My local WM gets trashed bad. You had better have a team and have someone grab a place in line while someone fights for the goods around the store.

This would be about my 5th Black Friday and I tend to enjoy it. (We usually set aside about $100 just for little BF stuff) But... this year I may shop online or sit it out... I just can't say till Friday at 2 or 3 AM for certain.

Only if the Any retailer is in the town you live in. Being in a small town like Las Cruces, I can't take a Circuit City add to our Walmart, as we don't have a CC in town. Best-buy perhaps.

Hopefully, there will hardly be anyone wanting to get the Sony BDP-S350 BR player at Walmart as there will be people at K-Mart wanting one. This should save me a lot of time waiting.

They didn't match last time I tried. Guess I will test it out here. Las Cruces is pretty weird.
