They had us keep the old box. Does anyone know if we will get a totally new box with blu-ray or just a Blu-ray DVD in the mail for the exchange?

It really shouldn't matter either way, but I suspect they're having people send JUST the disc back because (a) they don't want a bunch of cases lying around, and (b) because it'll save on shipping for the consumer. You can mail a CD for like $0.64. No need to insure it... you're not getting it back!

I could care less about the case. I'm fine keeping the original. Hoping that I get my new disc quick, tho. 7/18 is my birthday... would make a nice gift!

Externally, apart from the case saying DolbyTrueHD on two places on the back and the cat number being 21520 and the correct 2.40 aspect ratio mentioned and the ABCs and the Full 1080 symbol, the disc label is black with a pic of the police cars chasing the yellow cab. The new case has a lock too.

Now that is a cool comparison. The detail in her face is vastly improved so that's gotta end up making the entire film look more 3-D.

But, I have to admit the difference between the remaster and the original is even greater. It totally blows away both. And makes the DVD look like utter crap.

I just bought another copy from Amazon. It should be here tomorrow. I'll give my ol copy to a friend who just got a PS3 (I already told him it isn't the greatest demo material, but hey, it helps build up his Blu-ray collection).

Default Has anybody seen the cover of The Fifth Element?

Want to know if it sports something different than the first edition. Like "Remastered" or something like that.

Most of the stores still have the old copies on the shelves and I don't want to pick up the old version.

I picked mine up at Circuit City. The blu-ray case didn't mention anything about being remastered but the wrapping/label had this: FIFTH ELEMENT, THE RMSTD BD.
