Badass list on the whole, but that's an excellent and bold choice for #1! Honestly, that novel is easily in my top 5 ever. It's easy to forget it's based on a true story lol. Some great adaptations, too.

I liked the 2002 movie a lot, but even seeing it in the theatre with dad when I was 10, I was mad at the ending for being changed to the most generic and cliche possible Hollywood ending. Other than that, though, it's a strong adaptation (if somewhat parsed down, as it has to be), a lot of fun. I actually watched it the other day, and (minus the ending) it does hold up well.

Yea man I love that film. Great great acting and just a well made adaptation. prolly in my top 10 fav movies of all time. I dont really remember being mad at the ending but then again I never read the book so I didnt have anything to compare it to. Got Em!!

All editions will be covered under one umbrella. For example: if someone enters Kingdom of Heaven and another enters Kingdom of Heaven: Director's Cut, they will both count simply towards Kingdom of Heaven.

I'd highly recommend the book.

Anyways, yeah, many would not have a problem with the ending, but I have a deep revulsion to Hollywood endings in general.
