Default pt-ae2000u vs. epson 6100

I know the epson is a newer model and I can get it cheaper but my concern is when I go to projector central and look at their hd video compatibilities, the panny is compatible with 1080p/50 1080p/60 and 1080p/24, and the epson is only compatible with 1080p/60. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what that means? Aren't blu-rays 1080p/24? Which projector would be the better buy in giving me the best blu-ray experience?

24fps reduce judder cause by 3:2 convertion to 60 for display device. They'll still be judder because 24fps can't catch fast action anyway. But 24f assure you that the projector doesn't play with the picture

So I went ahead and got the epson, was that a bad choice since it doesn't have 24p? Or will blu-ray still be impressive. This will be my first 1080p display, so I don't know what to expect. I am excited about it because of what I've heard about picture quality, but I also do not like the sound of this picture judder I've heard of. Will it really be noticeable and detract from my viewing experience?

Just stop reading about everything pj or screen related and you will be happy as a kid in candystore .

If you notice judder or not you will soon find out, if you are sensetive to that you can always return it right?

It will look superb! Imho, i'am more impressed at 120hz Frame Interpolation than 24fps anyway

Thanks guys, I am so excited to get this, thank you for easing my mind about it though, but yeah, I can not wait, my last projector was 480p, so this should probably blow me away
