The Greasy Strangler (Monster Pictures) 2-Disc Deluxe Edition

Monster Pictures have released The Greasy Strangler in two versions here, the Vanilla (currently $15.98 at JB Hi-fi) and the Greasy Down Under 2-Disc Deluxe Version (currently $23.98 at JB Hi-fi). The Deluxe Edition features a bonus disc (BR) Slipcase (o-ring) and Alternative Artwork:



Ronnie runs a Disco walking tour with his son, Brayden. When a sexy woman takes the tour, it begins a competition between father and son for her love. It also signals the arrival of an oily strangler who stalks the streets at night.

There seems to be a significant number of Australia-based extras on that second disc, so perhaps that's why there is so much 50Hz video? Is there anything on Disc 2 which is 50Hz but not shot in Australia?

All but the Deleted & Extended Scenes are locally produced and were shot at 25fps. The Deleted & Extended Scenes are kept at their native 24fps on Disc 2 though.

I'll get back to you on if there's a NZ date looming for home entertainment, unfortunately though the #GreasyDownUnder Deluxe Edition won't be making it the land of the long white cloud though.
