A 4K UHD BD of Suspiria would be the greatest home video release in history.

FYI, I emailed Synapse about this possibility, and sadly it's not going to happen (at least right now):

When Blu-ray first emerged, we waited a few years before diving in because of the huge costs involved in creation and replication.

Well that's a bit of a letdown cause with the speculation on their part in the Synapse Suspiria thread, it seemed (to me at least) it was going to happen. Oh well,can't blame them though because of the costs involved. I'm sure once UHD has settled in we'll see a UHD of this movie someday...

Just wait until de remake hits the cinemas. They'll release both films in UHD, I'm pretty sure.

the retooling of the soundtrack is exciting too (as well as the new transfer). Besides the exorcist (for me) this maybe the most disturbing soundtrack.....felt like i was listening to something I shouldn't be listening to...
