Kraftwerk: 3-D The Catalogue (in Dolby Atmos) - Blu-ray Forum

Parlophone will release a Blu-ray 3D box set of Kraftwerk concerts on 26 May 2017. Performances of Autobahn (1974), Radio-Activity (1975), Trans Europe Express (1977), The Man-Machine (1978), Computer World (1981), Techno Pop (1986), The Mix (1991) and Tour De France (2003) were filmed between 2012 and 2016 and will be released as a deluxe edition Blu-ray/Book box set running 436 minutes. Each album concert will be presented in both 2D and 3D, with stereo and Dolby Atmos (5.1, apparently) audio.

A standard 77-minute Blu-ray/DVD combo is also coming as a cheaper option.

Thanks for posting. I pre-ordered the lower priced release for now.

If I can (if it doesn't sell out), I may pick up the deluxe set at a later date. Unfortunately, the Beatles deluxe set has my money in May so I will have to hold off on this deluxe set till a later time.

Yes, it's possibly unfortunate that both sets are being released on the same day.

Having said that, I'm surprised that this isn't bigger news. Guess we don't have a lot of Kraftwerk fans here.

I like Kraftwerk music and their original albums.
But this release contains Kraftwerk concerts??? = no buy.

If their original albums were released on lossless Blu-ray Audio, it would be day 1 purchase. No matter the cost.

I don't understand the multiple releases of this and gown its broken down - their seem to be vinyl, CD editions also released

I thought all Dolby Atmos encodes are 7.1 cored

Did Amazon US put up their preorders?

I'm in for the deluxe set if it's reasonably priced. I'm thinking sub-$100 which could be tough with 4 3D blu rays in the set along with a book. This has the potential to be a great release.

I hoped for a german / english Deluxe Edition with both language versions.
Will purchase the 4-disc german edition (144€).

Ordered in UK (the only country that has it, for the time being) 4 disc Blu-ray + book edition.

Probably would be wider interest in this release if the discs were region free. I myself am interested in the deluxe set and may buy it since I have a region free player.

That's good news. First announcements implied region B and blu-ray.com currently lists it as region B with A and C untested. Glad to hear it is region free... makes much more sense.
