Need help Choosing a subwoofer

hi all, i've narrowed down my search to these 3 subwoofers that i can afford ( more like whats available in my country,lol) 1st of,my system is a basic 2.1 so far,Polk Audio R15's front, Yamaha RX-V457 Reciever.My choices are the Mirage audio Omni S8 Subwoofer,Mirage Audio Omni S10 subwoofer,Energy 10.3 Subwoofer (is it me or does the mirage audio prestige S8 and the energy 10.3 have a identity crisis?) or the Klipsch RPW-10 Subwoofers,my room is really small and i rather feel the bass than have it being boomy.thanks in advance.

I don't have much "Hands on" time with any of those..... I wasn't impressed with the RPW-10 when I heard it at BB, and I've heard Mirage Subs that were decent, but I don't know the models, so that doesn't really help you! I guess if you can get all of those in your are, you should listen to them....

thing is,they dont offer demo's down here (trinidad) AFAIK,so i'm a fish outta water more or less

^would love to bring down one myself,but it would cost me and arm and leg in duties and vat and so on,so i am just left with these choices i posted

If it is possible for you to order on the Internet, check the Subwoofer Manufacturers List thread. There are some bargain subwoofers that also ship to other countries. Go to the bottom to find reviews.

thanks guys,ended up going with the mirage audio omni S8 subwoofer,my word,is this thing impressive,got a really small room and it totally rocks.
