Looking forward to this but I hope there isn't a reat of what happened last year where the Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 and Supergirl season 1 blu rays had a stuttering problem in my BD drive{others reported the same problem).

I suspected this happened because these two shows had shorter seasons and they tried to squeeze too many episodes on the disks so they didn't have to include an extra disk.

The stuttering problem didn't happen on the sets that were 22-23 episodes spread across the normal amount of disks.

The press release said it's a 3 disc set, that should eliminate the stuttering issue that haunted season 1 (and some copies of Supergirl season 1 because mine was fine)

Having read the press release, it looks like only the Legends episode of Invasion! is on this set. I don't feel this crossover works as standalone episodes

WB still has Flash season 3 and Arrow season 5 to give press releases for, so it is possible Invasion! is available in its entirety on each set.

While I don't see this happening, Invasion! is available as a standalone set on digital (iTunes, VUDU, etc.) it is possible WB could be doing an Invasion! set on Blu-ray/DVD

I won't touch digital unless it is free.

As for doing a stand alone set, the problem with that is that it would probably cost the same amount of money it would be to just buy Legends S2 on Black Friday.

Hey folks, just to let you know I have been sent a review copy of the Australian edition, and thankfully it is three discs. Remains to be seen whether or not the disc space is actually used, but it's promising.

Bought my copy of season 2 earlier today. In my area Best Buy was the ONLY place that had this on Blu-ray.
Haven't watched it yet but still annoyed that Invasion! isn't on here in its entirety

Yeah, I'm pretty pissed about that. They least they could have done was released Invasion as its own disc as one long movie. Then again, DC is probably embarassed that it was superior to their garbage theatrical movies. Well either way, I'm not going to touch any of these seasons until I can buy all three of them for $30 together.

Not an issue to me since I plan on picking up all the series anyway and watching the seasons in chronological order.

So the crossover isn't included? So what's that blurp on the back cover about the crossover that mentions the other shows in the Special Features section.

I am getting all of the shows. But I really liked last years Arrow and Flash sets where the crossover was included in its entirety on both sets. Really wish they would've done it again this year

If they include them all on each set people who buy all the series will end up with 12 duplicate episodes. That's like an entire short season of redundant content you're paying for multiple times.

Yeah 4 shows of crossover is different than just 2 shows.

I'd argue that a ~$10 standalone release of the crossover would be a good thing to offer for anyone who isn't buying all 4 shows but I also think they've probably determined that most people are buying them all. I am.

I dont think printing the crossover on a disc is wise money.

Just rent the individual eps.

If they wanted an easy way they could just include crossover episodes as part of the digital copy.

Oh no, how horrible. How dare someone own 2 extra episodes on each set!
