These early preorders only serve to dissuade me from wanting to go out to a theater, and I've actually done just that and skipped about a dozen films in the last 6 months alone. In the case of Alien Covenant I'm going to make an effort to go watch it tomorrow but my expectations are super low. I'm expecting a Prometheus 2.0 situation - Funny thing is Covenant isn't even a direct sequel to Prometheus. "Visually stunning" is not a selling point lol

I just have to say that I think it is the STUPIDEST thing EVER that these companies advertise Movies coming out on DVD/BLURAY BEFORE their theater run is even started and finished, this HAS to damage profits which will eventually lead to a decrease in the market of theaters, people will and prob do say " ill just wait for the Blu Ray, its coming out soon anyway"....I just think whoever started this is an idiot and history will remember that

Looks like there will be both UHD/BD and BD/DVD editions of the steelbook. Had a feeling there would be a franchise collection, depending on the price/features I may get that (upgrade 2-4 to HD, and get to see the director's cut of the first film), or at least will get Covenant stand alone.
