Well, now that I officially purchased the first six Harry Potter films on Blu-ray, the original standard releases, I plan to finally sit through and watch Order of the Phoenix and Half Blood Prince on Blu-ray. I'm waitiing until Deathly Hallows strikes through and drops in price. It'll take about a month or two, but, Best Buy will put it on sale for under $20, eventually.

The standard edition is $16.99 on Amazon right now... Has been all along.

Won't buy it from Amazon. Even so, it's a street date release and $17 for it is just too high a price for me. In a few weeks, the price will drop down to between $10-15.

I make it a point never to buy street date release Blu-ray titles. The common law is that by waiting a few weeks, the price will drop even lower than the street date releases and that logic has never failed me.

Transporter 3, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Firefly TV Series, Fast and Furious 1,2,3,4 ... with the exception of Firefly, I paid $15 for each of them, just a few weeks after their original release date, much lower than they were when they were first released.

Not that I know of. I'm sure Target or someplace had exclusive packaging, but don't believe any retailer had exclusive disc-based extras.

Target had exclusive packaging for the DVD edition only, (two-disc edition), and BB had a death eater mask as packaging for the BD (perhaps DVD as well but I don't believe so...).

Just now catching up to some 2009 UE content that was ported forward to the SE's from last year: Watched the emotional "J.K. Rowling: A Year In the Life" last night. Did not know of her estrangement from her father and her mother's death from MS, both of which obviously inform the HP storyline. Very pleased that this supplement has been brought forward again to the new 4K UHD BD release.

What are the ways to get this material?

If I'm understanding your question correctly, the supplemental feature I'm referring to is included in the various HBP Blu-ray releases (the Ultimate Collector's Edition from 2011, last year's 2-disc SE [which basically drops the DVD and some of the tchotchkes] and the new 4K UHD).

Does anyone happen to know why this specific Canadian release isn’t listed on this site?

I’d very much like to add it to my collection.

Not 100% sure, but if the country is set wrong on your browser, you may not see this release. 99% of the time, selecting one country gives you releases and reviews from only one country. Set it to either Canada or All Countries and see if it pops up.

If it’s truly not in the database, just add it. It’s hard, and I’ve only done it once before (for a weird Blu-ray/DVD flipper of the movie Big Miracle).

I’ve searched for it all over the world. Is there any way to add it? Should I contact the moderators?

I've submitted it to this site, I hope they accept it.
