Summer 2017, so maybe May, June we could see Wonder Woman 3D. Looks like the film is making really good progress towards completion.

Very effective new trailer IMO. As far as 3D, I'd have to watch it again but imagine there won't be many pop outs.

I think that slow-mo bullet might count as a popout I think the film looks great regardless xD

Thanks for posting that 3D trailer Suntory.

Looking forward to the movie, though the 3D looks average/good, with mostly medium 3D layers from the look of it wearing my 3D glasses. A nice conversion based on the trailer anyway. Very nice to see 3D trailers posted online, even if they're in a foreign language.

The premiere is tomorrow night, fingers crossed for a good movie. Wonder Woman deserves a decent movie.

Reviews are coming in and they're looking good!

No one's mentioned the 3D experience yet though.

Is Seeing 'Wonder Woman' In 3D Worth It? The Warrior's Return Comes With Plenty Of Big Action Scenes

3D ticket sales alone might not be the send Wonder Woman to the top of the box office, but it will help send a message to studios that audiences are willing to pay to see Wonder Woman fight men in 3D.

Wonder Woman deserves to be seen — period — whether in 3D or 2D. 3D will just be a little bit more fun.

^ Seems to be more concerned with pushing an agenda involving having more female leads in action films tbh. A complete fluff piece with little to no valuable information.

The amount of depth of course also doesn't increase with more colour. See any black and white films with great 3d, it may seem to pop more, but that doesn't change the amount of depth we are perceiving and such perception is also present in 2d (so I fail to see how it adds more to 3d). BvS had no issue with it's 3d because of its colour use and in no way does this films trailer suggest it will compete in the 3d department with it (seemingly being a far, far more conservative conversion, though still looking good).

I hope the film and 3d are great. Just don't expect pure brilliance, as whilst the 3d trailer suggests it has taken 3d into account during filming, it hasn't pushed the 3d to strong or even high medium levels.

Thanks. I'm surprised the 3D in the Wonder Woman trailers' action scenes isn't on par with Batman vs Superman's 3D action scenes, but I'll keep an open mind and see how the 3D turns out this weekend. I agree, mostly medium 3D from the trailer I've seen a few times. I'll definitely see this one as a fan of the DC Comics' Super Friends, Justice League shows.

If there were expanded aspect ration scenes, I think we would have heard something.

Would like if there is, as I've enjoyed the Imax offerings this year.

I've got my tickets for Friday morning in XD 3D and will give my feedback soon after.
Haven't heard really anything about its 3D , nor have I seen a 3D trailer for it. So I'm going in blindly.

I think this generation of 3D has been pretty unimpressive on the whole. The best examples of depth and pop out have been older films for me. ICFOS, House Of Wax, The Bubble etc..
This gen has had a handful of standouts (Avatar, Gravity, Life Of PI) but for the most part they have played it wasaaay too safe. The depth on some of the older films put recent efforts to shame.

As for Wonder Woman, I expect it to be the same as Suicide Squqd and BVS, in other words, pretty average fare 3D wise. The film itself looks good though.

I agree 100%
I also agree this will probably be on par with Suicide Squad and BVS as this studio (Gener8) did both. Although we know they can kick it up a notch because they also have credits for working on Guardians 1, Ghostbusters, The Jungle Book, Pan, Pixels, Prometheus, Jupiter Ascending, Capt. America Winter Soldier and Godzilla to name a few. So it's a mixed bag on what we might get.

Cool. Enjoy! I'll see it for sure this weekend.

It's true that strong filmed 3D is tough to top, though there are a few exceptions as you mention, including the stronger 3D in TMNT 2, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, etc. But you're right in that studios need to amp up the 3D by giving the conversion studios more time to convert with greater budgets for stronger 3D.

From the 3D trailer, it's looking like average, medium 3D layers even during the action surprisingly. Again, not sure if the trailer sources the film's 3D, or if the 3D trailer was made separately. If anything, they'd want to make the 3D trailer look amazing and then hopefully match it in the film. But it doesn't look like strong 3D was the goal with this one. Hopefully I'm wrong and the 3D is stronger than the trailer suggests.

Just got out of an IMAX 3D screening. The movie was pretty good, a bit long, but thankfully it is better than the previous DCEU films.

My opinion on the 3D is: Meh.

Starts off decent with some pop outs courtesy of arrows, but after that not much in terms of pop outs or depth. You get some decent shots with the slow motion scenes but that's about it. Pretty average here. Definitely had potential to be great.

Hopefully, Transformers and Spider-Man, possible along with Cars, Despicable Me and Valerian, can finish off the season with some good 3D.

I have faith in Transformers since it's native and a bit of converted. Valerian has to be pristine in the format.

Well Guardians vol 2 is absolutely fantastic 3D in the way of pop outs and depth just as good as vol 1 if not a bit better sometimes. More Movies in 3D like this.
This does not sound like we will quite get there with this movie. Still seeing it in 3D to judge by myself.
