What is it you need help with? Determining of those particular games are playable on the PS3 or PSOne games in general?

If it's the latter, I can tell you from my own experience that it's indeed very playable. The only drawback is the use of the L2 and R2 buttons which can get tricky as they weren't analog back in the PSX period.

It looks like all of the 80GB can play PS titles, but it is limited. Does anyone have a link to a list of compatible titles?

Based on the consumer alert:

Virtually all PS1 games play on every model of the PS3. The difference in backward compatibility comes with the PS2 games and varies greatly depending on the model.

To make more money? You can also play those PS1 games on the go with your PSP, plus if they actually released some of those PS1 classics, lots and I mean lots of hardcore gamers would buy them. I can think about 10-20 games I would easily buy off the store, shit if they put GT or GT2 there I would buy it so I could play it on the PSP.

'Mostly'.

There are some [FF Chronicles being the big one to me still] that have rather big glitches in gameplay.

http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/CompatibleStatus

Is a helpful little page though.
