The pic centers on a young married couple, Todd and Jessica Smith, two filmmakers from Raleigh in North Carolina, who set out to produce a documentary exploring the highly publicized, creepy clown sighting epidemic, which was investigated by local law enforcement.

Hopefully this studio can get it a wide release because honestly I think it could do quite well in October. Especially after "It." I think it seems promising.

This actually has 27,859 likes on Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/behindthesightings/ ) which is pretty impressive for an indie film this far before release. Wish Upon opens wide Friday and only has 54,282 likes.

Hardly anyone under 30 even uses FB anymore. Liking fb movie pages is so 5+ years ago.
