They didn't give much away today, but it's supposed to be a live service game the same as Destiny. Should be a great show for MS tomorrow, the Scorpio graphics look set to be stunning.

I think that this will be one of those 3rd part games that offer extra content to the platform holder, like the way PS4 gets exclusive content in Destiny, I'm sure MS will have grabbed some exclusive content for this one since that seems to be their weakest point right now. They need more games and exclusive content. They have also dropped the exclusive Ultimate Team from FIFA now too, so maybe they dropped that for this.

Cool to see a 3rd person view. I thought it would be first person only. Anthem looks awesome. Hopefully there's an offline option too.

-Mech suits /flying, swimming
-monsters to battle
-jungle setting to start, reminds me of Avatar.

Look interesting. Not enough to go on for me to be excited yet though. I know this isn't the Andromeda team, but I couldn't help but notice tons of similarities in regards to animations and combat gameplay. I'm sure it'll end up a lot better, but I have tons of these "open world endless RPGs with friends" on my plate as it is.

Great news to hear Anthem will have a single player option, thanks Mavrick! I wasn't expecting that.

Glad that Bioware doesn't forget about their fan base of RPG single player gamers.

Single player does not necessarily translate to offline. Much of Destiny and The Division can be single player, but the games are still obligate online games.

In that development hell article about Andromida, didn't they basically say everything we now see that they're doing in this game is hard to do in Frostbite? That would explain the similarities. Maybe that's why this game has been in development for so long?

That was a huge red flag for me.

I hope this won't be the devolpmemt diasaster Andromeda was.

I was thinking about that also. Here's hoping it's an offline mode. This game looks like it could allow it, but we'll find out hopefully soon. No release date, so it'll likely be a 2018 game.

I wonder if the opening street shops area is actual gameplay or a scripted enhanced graphics/characters scene as they do with the faces in Uncharted 4.
