Default blu-ray problem

my player is a PS3. im using HDMI on an 42 inch westinghouse LCD and ive watched a bunvh of blu rays. two that i resently watched, The Forbidden Kingdom and Dead Space Downfall, at one scene in each movie for a couple of sceonds, there was a thick white line on the right side of my screen. it was all the way at the right, going from top to bottom.

anyone know what causes this? i would really not like to see it during The Dark Knight..

I have The Forbidden Kingdom, but can't say I've noticed this problem. Since it only happens on 2 movies, maybe it's the movies that have a defect? Could you borrow or rent a copy? Also, check your connections again. Make sure everything is in solid.

If the problem persists..go to the next step. Can you borrow another PS3? If so, hook it up and try again. Or better yet, take those movies a friends place that has a PS3 and see if it persists.

I hope for you that it's the movies. Are your componants still under warranty?
