Im kind of disappointed with this so called LE. The packaging is some cheap cardboard box that holds the regular game case. I dont know, I guess I was expecting something like the MGS4 LE set. Interestnig that the game case doesnt have a Not for Resale tag on the back like most other sets. As far as the soundtrack goes, its not even on a CD. Its a blu-ray so I can only use it on my PS3. Hope someone is able to rip it bc I like the theme that was in the E3 trailer. Its in a small plain white cardboard insert. The content is HD, so Im glad about that. I wonder what they did with the 360 version since it has no BR.

About to play the game now. Will post thoughts later
So you got 2 Blu-ray's? What kind of interface does it use for the music playback?

I think Europe got the better deal with LE packaging.

Yep its 2 blu-rays. On the BR, theres a selection for Sountrack and it just plays the music over different PoP backgrounds. It doesnt even give you a track listing, so you have no clue whats being played. Its only a few tracks and doesnt even include the E3 theme which is dissapointing. Yeah EU definetly got he better package.

FYI, heres what the extra disc looks like:

This has got to be the most artisticly visually stunning game Ive ever played. Its like a living painting. The game is beautiful and I can definetly see it getting some best graphics nominations for 2008.

I was worried about the combat love it. There are several combos and teh moves are fun to pull off. Having Elika involved makes things interesting. It might get old though considering theres no upgrading of the Prince's abilities and/or different weapons but htere are unlockable combos and Elika gets new moves.

I can definetly see the Assasins Creed inspiration in this game especially when it comes to the jumping and platforming. Thats a good thing bc that was that game's strongest aspect.

Dialogue so far is terrible. Can be a bit cheesy and its mainly the Prince. I wish he were more humble and not so much of a jerk. Doesnt quite jive well with the overall theme of the game. Im not minding Elika. The voice acting is alright but again the Prince is bothering me. Why couldnt they get a guy with an accent. Its bothering me that he's talking like an American. As far as the game being too easy, well like some of the reviews stated, thats my least favorite part of this. I wish Elika saving you was the easy mode with you having the option to turn her off if you want a more challenging experience.

Here's a screenshot of the SoT Prince:

I live in NYC and am a big fan of the prince of persia games. I am very excited about this title and absolutely love the UK preorder packaging (we got shafted here in North America). Unfortunately Play.com will not sell to customers in the US.

Is there anyone who lives in the UK who would be willing to order the exclusive Pre-order pack of the PC version of the game on Play.com for me and ship it to me? I will be happy to reimburse you for your help however you wish (Paypal, Ebay etc.). Please let me know soon, as the game releases next week.

Highlight of this game is Nathan`s voice, game is beautiful, getting the trophy of getting saved less than 100 times will be a pain

I'm getting this for Christmas! Can Not Wait!!! I'm a huge pop fan! Gamestop called and it's in. I'm going to have my wife pick it up and wrap it up and shove it under the tree! Woohoo!

So yea i got the game its pretty cool, nice bright colorful graphics.
the gameplay is ok i just wish you could swing your sword or something while you explore, not that big of a deal its just something i would like to do.
and they should of put wepon upgrade system in the game i would of loved to get more powerful swords.

other than that its a very good game.

This game is horrendous, one of the worst I've ever played. So far it just freezes every time you need to press a button and tells you what button to press. So annoying, I know what button to press I'm not an idiot -the gameplay is for infants!

When I heard you couldn't die I expected it to be like Soul Reaver, but it's extremely lame the way Elika constantly saves you with the same stupid cut scene.

The controls are awful. You just press a button and wait. Then press another button and wait. Fights scenes are made up of long stupid slow mo action sequences that you have to sit through just from pressing a button or two.

The level design is horrendous, it's vast but not detailed enough.

Voice overs may be the worst I've ever heard in my life, it's embarrassing to listen to.

AND it's glitchy, in the first level the ground completely disappeared and just from walking I would fall into nothingness and Elika would save me. I thought it was intentional until I remembered the gametrailers.com review:
"If you do anything the game doesn't expect, it will cause crashes on the PS3"

This is an interactive movie, not a game. I can't recommend it to anyone. I hope that people enjoy it, but if you are on the fence about buying it RENT IT first.
After this, I had to play Ninja Gaiden 2 to remind myself what a real video game is.

No hype for this game? I can say is extremely easy but visuals, gameplay, voice acting ad story makes for it. Im halfway thru the story
