Yes the audio works very well. Please note you need to connect a pair of stereo headphones to the connector coming from the actual VR headset (attached to the cable that comes out of the headset. If you don't you won't get the 3D sound.

I would recommend batman, Resident Evil, FX pinball and Statik. All excellent. If you play Resident Evil with headphones you will need nerves of steel!

My girlfriend plays mostly London Heist shooting range, my daughter loves Job Simulator, I bounce around Arkham VR and Rush of Blood. I also think the VR Star Wars battlefront mission is amazing and a nerds dream!

The VR worlds demo disc is a great showcase for what it can do.

When I tried the VR experience Samsung offered on the S8 phone, it had lots of fast motion and rocking on the 4DX and I didn't feel sick once so I'm pretty confident I'm the type of person that could handle hours upon hours of VR without inducing motion sickness. That's why I am excited for the future of VR but also not wanting to jump in until the tech gets better or cheap enough to "Have a go" kind of like I did with PlayStations' Eye.

VR 2.0 needs to be aiming for 4K HDR and also solid FPS reproduction of at least the 60fps equivalent on TVs and be buttery smooth in motion and work 360 degrees for all game experiences.

I just personally can't justify the cost of VR as an early adopter to be frank. I'd rather start putting money aside for a 4K HDR OLED down the line that exceeds 2k nits or so on brightness and has low input lag to eventually replace my current TV. Was hoping to upgrade for PS5 release tbh and still waiting for prices to tumble down more but credit to LG, they're blazing trails and give me hope.

You may be waiting quite a long while for 4K HDR VR, the tech for PS4 isn't there yet.

This video confirms by a producer that game is full game and will have full movement. I can't believe its happening!

Has your daughter tried VR Playroom? The 3D platformer on there is great. It's a mini game but wonderful for children (and families)

Like I said, my highlight is RE. Amazing experience.

We havent tried Playroom yet, its downloaded though. RE 7 will be my next VR pick up. So many games, so little time.

Tbh, I'm not expecting 4K HDR in VR on PS4. It's practically impossible. I'm hoping for it during the PS5/PS5 Pro (If they do it) generation. VR 2.0 needs to introduce HDR at the very least but 4k is almost a necessity too Imo to push sharper graphics and make things feel more realistic.

The thing is, you don't even care about that when you are walking around a mansion with a maniac stalking you or trying to shoot a van of gangsters as you speed down a motorway. I stopped caring and was just awestruck by the immersion. That's the thing about VR. People who haven't tried it struggle to imagine how good it is. You mentioned you have tried it haven't you? If it's just a phone VR bear in mind the PS VR is much much better.
