Warner Bros V for Vendetta (2006)

I haven't seen this movie yet. I heard on the favorite comic book movie thread people liked it. I was and still am skeptical about this movie. So, I thought I could get a discusion thread started about it so I could overhear some of the conversation on it and then decide for myself. If you would like to tell me your thoughts directly feel free.

Phenomenal. You most likely will be glad you bought it.

If I were to see it, which it seems like I might, I would rent it on DVD first and then go from there.

It's a great comic book adaptation. The story is excellent, as are the action scenes. And the pacing of the film is well done too. Definitely rent the movie to see the film. Although I suggest buying the film if you like most of the comic book movies that have been made in the recent decade.

Good idea, it was a blind buy for me on DVD and while I was clearly surprised and loved it, it's a very strange movie that might not appeal to everyone.

I am still surprise I haven't got this on BD yet

This is one of my top 5 movies, really love it. Hugo weaving is awesome and Natalie Portman has great acting (proving that they just didn't tell her to act in SW I-III(IMO)).

I notice something new in the movie every time I watch it and I like it a little more every time I watch it (like Batman Begins).

This is one of maybe 4 blind buys that I've ever made and it may be the only one I don't regret.

Oh, and I upgraded to Blu from my 2-disc set...like Batman Begins(though with BB I did that 2 times, single disc, 2-disc, Blu).

Thing about V is you will either love it or not totally get it. I for one, loved it.

I so badly want to love this movie, but I am "meh" about it. I only saw it the one time and remember liking it, but not loving it. I think it's time to revisit it, this time in hi-def.

I have it in a DVD not a Blu. I am trying to stop double dipping.

It is one of my favorite movies. When my wife has gone some place and I have a couple hours to sit and enjoy a flick, "V" is probable the one I will pop in the player to watch.

I loved V for Vendetta, the audio was awesome as well, not going to say at which parts.... Hugo Weaving and Natalie Portman are both great in this movie

I was "meh" about it when I first saw it in the theater. I just saw it on BD, from Netflix, and enjoyed it much more. Will be buying it in the near future.

Didn't like it that much. Alan Moore hates it. The Wachowski's deliberately changes what the story was to fit their own agendas.
