Another Mill Creek Universal release. No word on music edits or whether these will be the NBC versions or the DirecTV versions, though. Last edited by ElectricPeterTork; 06-20-2017 at 11:05 PM. |

To me, along with Six Feet Under, the finest show ever produced.

When the Mill Creek/Universal deal was announced a year or two ago, I figured FNL would be one of the shows that came to Blu, since it's a relatively new show that was shot in HD and no real work would have to be done to get it in shape.
Glad to see I was right, eventually. I'm looking forward to the release. |

Terrible news. Mill Creek will once again most likely shaft and discriminate against the hard of hearing by failing to include subtitles tracks that already exist. I guess there's a chance they will do the set right, but my guess is they won't. If so, I will happily eat my words.

You should definitely finish it; it has one of the best endings of any show I've ever seen. It's one of my top three favorite shows.

Folks, no other label BUT Mill Creek would be releasing this on Blu, it's this or nothing (and complaints of MC's Blu-rays are hyperbolic on the whole)

It's like the wailing and gnashing of teeth over Batman: Mask of the Phantasm coming from the Warner Archives. It's not like these films and shows are going to get a major, ballyhooed release to every store in the land but these mean old niche labels are holding them hostage. It's this or nothing. Now, if FNL winds up without subtitles, that is a major disappointment and disservice. But the disc and picture quality will be the same from MC or Uni, and Uni doesn't think the show is profitable enough for them to release. |

It's a truly great show that deserved far more success than it got. |
