I think this'll look much like the Mummy, with super fine grain and a lovely HDR treatment.

A BD100 would be a first for Universal. Cheap bastards that they are.

Nice to see so many new releases but that is ridiculous pricing from cdon. Unfortunately there are hardly any retailers here that sell UHD so no price pressure at all.

Proof is in the pudding, especially with Universal/Comcast.

Universal Studios Apollo 13 (1995) 4K UHD

http://thedigitalbits.com/columns/my...FsK7g.facebook

On the 4K front, it looks like the floodgates are beginning to open at last. We now have confirmation from our industry and retail sources that Universal is working to bring Ron Howard’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Apollo 13, Joss Whedon’s Serenity, and Steven Spielberg’s ET: The Extra-Terrestrial to the format later this year. These would be in addition to all of the catalog 4K titles we mentioned in yesterday’s post here at The Bits. Note that these have not been officially announced by Universal here in the States, but we expect them to be in the weeks ahead. The Apollo 13 4K cover art (pictured above left) comes from an international retail source.

Isn't there already a thread for this? Also props to Universal for not holding back on the catalog titles.

Bill Hunt is a joke and his site is clickbait.
I'll wait until this site announces it officially.

So if it turns out Bill Hunt is right, like he was on the Blade Runner UHD, you'll apologize for smack-talking him I assume?
