I have a hunch that Mill Creek is planning a release in the US, but that would be bare bones and completely useless (other than having the latter two films finally hit BD in the US).
Regardless, this should render that possibility null and void. Definitely piqued my interest. |

I already bought the UK blu-ray of Urban Legend a couple of years ago.
I remember Final Cut being really bad. It was directed by John Ottman who did the music score (mostly unused) for Halloween H20. I think it was his first and only directing job. I honestly didn't even know a 3rd Urban Legend existed. From the plot description it's supernatural which is a different from the first 2 movies. It's got a low rating on IMDB so I doubt I'll ever bother watching it. The first Urban Legend is a classic to me though. I was coming of age during the post-Scream slasher craze so I'm very fond of some of the movies from that era. After I Know What You Did Last Summer, Urban Legend is probably the next best post-Scream slasher. It's got a really good cast, great kills, gore and chase scenes and a truly memorable killer. |

I just found out about this release last week. Purchased it from blowitoutahere.com for $26 shipped. Arrived a couple of days ago. Haven't had a chance to check out the quality yet, but I'm a sucker for horror movies on blu (even bad sequels). I had all of them on dvd and was happy to upgrade.
