It does state in German that the fake trailers are present so I;m sure it'll be the 191 minute Theatircal version. I believe other Senator releases have been region free... If so, then this set is sooo mine.

In the US 3/1/09 is March. In the rest of the world it's Jan 3rd.

In a lot of Asian countries it's 2009.03.01 (March 1st) or 2009.01.03 (January 3rd).

Just my two cents. Our USA date is screwy though. "MM/DD/YYYY"? It defies logic.

same with how the US uses yards, inches, feet, mph, gal, lbs (although Canada does as well), etc

FYI, Canada converted to the metric system in the 70s. The US is only one of a very few countries that haven't adopted it.

I think I will buy both of these on blu in the US and then double dip for the steelbook. I LOVE the full version..but sometimes i dont mind having each of them seperate.

Plus they rock either way!

01/03/09 March 1st, I know because I lived in Germany a few years back. I am going to order this when it comes out, I saw Grindhouse back in theaters and I loved it. I was considering ordering the DVD but when I saw that there's a Blu-Ray version I was like "Hell no! Blu-Ray, baby!" So, I am going to order it and Silent Hill off Amazon.de when the time comes.

Well, AmazonDE canceled my order. Apparently, the German Grindhouse will not be released until an American version is. Basically, don't expect it anytime soon...
