Arrow Video in Montreal

I wonder if these prices are in CDN and if there will be sales taxes.

In my experience, when they have vendors like that at the festival, prices are in CDN dollars with no sales tax, and usually cash only.

They might have Steve from Unobstructed View there, as they are the rights holders in Canada for Arrow. Some really great deals though.

If you are using public transit, you can access it from Guy-Concordia metro station without going outside.

Great price on the Hellraiser set. If I was in Montreal I'd probably grab it.

I just went at the Arrow stand. I bought Re-animator, The Hellraiser set and the Stray Cat Rock set, which was $30. I paid $120 for the 3. They take cards and also had the Yoshida set and the Herschell Gordon Lewis set.

Yesterday (Friday) they opened at 6pm, so presumably the same thing next weekend.

Yes, that's $100 tax included for 5 movies. However, their boxsets are way more expensive than last year. Last year, I bought Stray Cat Rock for $30 and Hellraiser: The Scarlet Box for $50. This year, they sell their smaller sets like Outlaw Gangster VIP and Seijun Suzuki: The Early Years in the whereabouts of $60-$65 while the more expensive ones, like Sartana and Female Prisoner Scorpion are $80. That's basically what it would cost to buy them on amazon.co.uk or base.com.

Yeah, this year, it's 5/$100 on selected Blu-rays, so some of the newer releases were not included.

Vinegar Syndrome also has a table: $25 or $30 depending on the title. Also no taxes. They also will give you a deal if you buy multiple titles, but they don't have a specific deal.

Still awesome prices for movies that are hard to find and if so, are $30+ via Amazon or Sunrise.
I would pay $20 for Bride of the Re-Animator any day.
