These are both awesome films. I own McFarland USA on Blu-ray. I watched The Rookie so many times during my DVD days that I can go a while without another fix, but I should pick up the Blu-ray while it's so cheap and in-print.

I still haven't joined the Disney Movie Club. I'm waiting until there are enough movies on there for me to fulfill my obligations in just one swoop. I do own Swiss Family Robinson, though, because I bought it from a third-party Amazon dealer.

I hear ya. I am not a big fan of his but the movie is so well done. Directed by the late Bill Paxton and the rest of the cast is excellent IMO.

The only film that he has been good in IMHO is Fury.
