Buying Uncharted.... again! - Blu-ray Forum

hey!

I finished Uncharted when I first bought the game months ago.. But at the time, there were no trophies available. With all the hype of Uncharted 2 I would love to play it again! Thing is, I traded the game in!!

Am I nuts buying it again?? I have kinda realised though that this is a game I should not have traded it, and I would love to try play it through again with trophy support.. Now that it has gone platinum it's not expensive either. Think I should buy it again?!

As anyone made a similar mistake before with another game and re-bought???

You should definitely buy it (again), as far as I'm concerned it's still one of the best games available for the PS3 (and best looking). Still got to complete the game on hard

and crushing

yeah i think I will get it.. I am a sucker for just playing games once, and leaving it at that.. I never really try harder levels. But for some reason I am aching to play this game again!!!! Lesson learned!

Uncharted is a classic. Still have mine, may play it through again on a harder level just to get the trophies.

You can get it cheap on ebay now, so I would go for it.

wish it were platinum over here in NA. Very unlikely that will happen until the 160GB bundle disappears though as that would diminish the value of that

Anyway, yes, I'd say get it again. And this time for good.

I bought it the day it came out then sold it a few months later. Im gonna be picking this up again when I can find it for under $40

Try searching craigslist. I sometimes see used ones there for $20-$25

Definitely pick it up again. It's a far better game than most of the new stuff and collecting the trophies is fun. Although collecting all of the treasures can be tedious.

since you've played it before, it wouldn't take too long getting all the trophies. i'd say go to blockbuster and rent it for $8 or whatever they are charging in your area. you have a week plus a week (since there are no 'late fees'). two weeks should be plenty of time to beat the game twice.

You can always go to Target and check their clearance rack. I recently bought my non-greatest hits copy of Uncharted for 29.99.

Rent it or borrow it from a friend if you just want trophies, no need to re-buy the game.

I just got this game last week... and boy did I miss out, this is one of the best games ive ever played... the graphics, gameplay, the video cut scenes, i can go on... Cant wait to beat it and play in bonecrusher mode

check on your local craigslist.... I got mines for $25... still in pristine condition...

+1. I'm totally the same with most games I buy. Play them to completion & then trade them for credit torwards a new challenge! Uncharted was one of my favorites when I first bought my PS3 in March of '07. I am defenitely looking forward to the sequel!
