Jagga Jasoos (English: Detective Jagga) is a 2017 Indian mystery musical adventure romantic comedy film written and directed by Anurag Basu, and produced by Basu and Ranbir Kapoor. The film features Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, and tells the story of a teenage detective in search of his missing father. The film was released on 14 July 2017.

While looking around Fandango, I spotted this playing in a theater near me, so I decided to look for a trailer. It looks fun and interesting. If I can find the time, I will definitely check it out.

Ranbir is awesome, kinda unreliable with movie choices these days but he's good regardless.

This is apparently gonna be the last Disney/Bollywood coproduction from what I've read. The others were ABCD 2 (basically an Indian version of Step Up), and Dangal, which IIRC is the highest-grossing Bollywood movie ever. One of those true story inspirational sports movies that Disney always does. It's on Netflix, haven't gotten around to it yet cuz I can't stand the main actor in it.

The only thing that looks good about this film is the female lead/love interest.

Also, with 0 dialogue in the trailer (except some real quick mumbling at the end), I still don't know if this is going to be English language, or subtitled. It seems like it would be a PG family-friendly film, but I can't imagine Disney expecting a young audience to have to read subtitles.

I'm so confused as to who this movie is targeted towards.
