That face & body does not match the voice at all.....lol. I would expect some large bearded half-starved mountain man to have that voice! I do hope they make it though, us rock n' rollers need a 21st century rock band to hang our hats on and carry us to the next generation.

Well, that was pretty lame, bad and boring. I'll have to listen to Acid Eater to cleanse my ears now. That's how 21st century rock 'n' roll should be, ugly, raw and filthy. No nonsense.

Funny, others called it good "classic rock". No one called it 21st century rock. I'm thinking Zeppelin, Rush, Sabbath, Stones & The Who must be bad and boring for you as well. I'm also thinking you must be young because the time period of 67-80 would have bored you to death.

I like what I hear and I'm going to download their EP pronto.

It reminds me of Wolfmother for the most part.

Well, you mentioned that rock 'n' rollers needed a certain 21st century rock band. And the one who made the thread mentioned the 21st century too. I'm just referring to it as the time period, nothing else.

It's interesting that you are thinking quite the opposite about what I find boring. I really like early Black Sabbath for example. And 67-80 (or just the 60s and forward) were great years in terms of garage rock, psychedelic rock, progressive rock, free jazz, krautrock, the beginnings of metal and countless other genres and subgenres, so that period is everything but boring for me.

I just don't like Greta Van Fleet and feel that they don't deserve all the praise they seem to be getting, but that's just an opinion from a grumpy and fastidious man.

The youtube links in the OP didn't open for me while I was at work.
Last night I youtubed that Highway tune and saw the band and thought, "They're a bunch of kids!"
Highway Tune is a kickass tune and if the rest of their music is as good as that, they're off to a great start!

Question Hard rock revival?

We've seen this before with Kingdom Come, whom actually got some backlash for the Zep thing, & more recently with Rival Sons. It's cool to see these young musicians carry the hard rock torch, problem is, the majority of fans of this type of music are old, getting old or already dead. Seems like the mega popular hard rock acts days are over, but who knows, maybe there will be a revival of sorts & young hard rock bands can get young listeners into this stuff, but don't hold your breath over it.

Definitely got a big Zeppelin vibe from the vocals. Pretty good, I'll have to delve further.
