Default Gaps in your collection you will never fill

Like a gap between your front teeth in which you take pride and will never try to correct, there are spaces "intentionally left blank" in some of our collections that we would never want to fill.

What are yours?

I'll start the ball rolling.

Movies that are so bad that you wont buy even if it competes a collection/series.

I think he means films like in a franchise where you don't like one or more of the films and have no desire to have them in your library. In the example provided I am guessing he doesn't like Return of The Living Dead Part II.

For me it would these:

I have no desire to have the other Exorcist movies.

I recently parted with these--happier to just own the first.

Won't buy these, I prefer only the numbered sequels.

I'll say no to these as well:

EDIT:
Wait, am I supposed to post the ones I want to keep and not the ones I don't want? Well...shoot.

Bolt, the Hulk movies, and Dr. Strange. Not a fan of the actors.

I'm an enormous Alfred Hitchcock fan and have most of his Blu-rays.

But there is no way I would buy Topaz, Frenzy or Family Plot.

Frenzy, that's a great Film but then we are all entitled to our opinions.

Jaws 4 the main one for me.

And not that I think this will be an issue (the release of them has stallled in the UK) but the last two Carry on films that were made: England, and Emmanuel.

Several others I can think: Indy Jones, Crystal Skull, the Star Wars Prequels, the films after Die Hard 3, only like the first 3 Rocky films, IV is ok, but don't want it in my collection, Omen III, the first Amityville horror film only.

Grew up watching the Connery, Moore Bond Films, own all those (except Moore's last, AVTAK, don't like that) but absolutely no interest in watching, owning the others just cause of the name.

Don't own these on Blu, but Police Academy 7, and several Friday the 13th's I don't care for: Part 5, 7, and everything after 8, regards 8, I know it's not well liked, but being of a certain age, it's the first Friday film I saw of the series, so holds some nostalgia for me (same for Jaws3) and last but not least (that I can think of right now) everything after Halloween III, yes I like that one, mainly because of Tom Atkins, 'The Fog' being one of my favourite films.

Off the top of my mind:

Jaws ( I'm guilty of having Jaws II), but have ZERO interest of owning the rest. Also, the last two seasons of the Andy Griffith show (I know, not bd)

The following titles will not complete my collection:

-Rings (one of the worst horror movies in recent time)
-Age Of Ultron (blind bought the first one, not a fan)
-Winter Soldier and Civil War (blind bought the first one, not a fan)
-Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 (first one was great, sequel sucks)
-Minions (hated it)
-The Grudge 3 (hate cheap ass Direct To DVD sequels)
-I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer (see above)
-Starshiptroopers 2 and 3 (see above)
-Wrong Turn 2-6 (see above)
-Man With The Iron Fists 2 (see above)
-Quarantine 2 (see above)
-Mirrors 2 (see above)
-Hard Target 2 (see above)
-Urban Legends 2 and 3 (see above)
-Hostel 3 (see above)
-Open Season 2-4 (see above)
-ROTLD 2 and yes, also part 3 (not really bad but not worth owning either)
-Prometheus (bought the 3D BD, watched it, then immediately sold it)
-All Dario Argento movies post Opera
-Nightmare on Elmstreet 4-7 (hate those sequels, though I own/like the remake)
-Monsters University (a major dissapointment)
-T.R.O.N. (never liked it, absolutely love the sequel though)
-Kung Fu Panda 3 (another dissapointment)
-Insidous 3 (really, really bad)
-Demons 2 (love the OG, never liked this one)
-Narnia 1 and 2 (only bought the third one because it was in 3D)
-Scary Movie 1-3 (I really only like the fourth one)
-Paranormal Activity The Marked Ones and Ghost Dimension (what a waste, both of them)
-Rambo 1-3 (only really like the fourth one)
-Lethal Weapon 1-3 (never was a big fan, don't know why I bought the fourth movie really)
-Journey To The Center Of The Earth 2008 (only like the second one)
-Ice Age 1, 2 and 5 (only bought the third one for 3D, why I bothered with the fourth one remains a mystery)
-The Smurfs 2 (really liked the first one, sequel not so much)
-Xmen Origins: Wolverine and The Wolverine (only like Logan)
-All Steven Seagal movies post Under Siege 2

Movies I'm still contemplating on buying just to make a collection complete:

-Finding Dory
-Jack Reacher 1
-xXx and State Of The Union
-Pirates 1-3
-Jurassic Park 2 and 3

Why the hate for Return of the Living Dead 2? It's streets ahead of 3 which feels like a DTV shot on videotape with a shoestring budget!

I would love the fill of Return of the Living Dead 2 but I will not buy the Terminator sequels after part 2 - I have zero interest though I tried to watch them I could not bare with them.

I think a list of movies I regret buying to complete a collection will be just as long.

Yeah, never gonna happen. Didn't like it and it didn't even fit with the other Bourne movies. Waste of time for me.

The first was terrible, the 2nd was fine enough to not entirely regret watching it... but the 2nd was retroactively put into the MCU but the 1st isn't even though the 2nd is a loose sequel to the 1st so that makes no sense.

I'll probably never own this since it doesn't have a dub... I know people get so offended by that but I can't focus on the movie when I have to read it the entire time. I'm ultimately fine not having it, I only NEED the theatrical Ghibli films anyway

This might not count... depends on if you think of "Marvel from Fox" or "any Fantastic Four movie" as their own series even if their unrelated.

I have no interest in any Terminator movie sans Arnie, so that Salvation crap is out of luck.
Genisys was great though.

ROTLD3 had a fresh, interesting spin on the story and some good performances.

ROTLD2 was a cheap rehash of the original with excruciatingly bad attempts at humor.
