Default Entertainment themed Christmas Ornaments

I was wondering if anyone else collects movie/tv related Christmas Ornaments from Hallmark or other companies.

I've been collecting for years.

So far this year I've bought three Hallmark ornaments.
The Star Trek Beyond USS Franklin ship and the two Star Wars magic cord ships, the Death Star and the Tie Fighter.

The Star Wars ships are pretty cool with how they interact with each other.

I know I'll be on the lookout for the Godzilla ornament from Carlton Cards.

Oh totally, but my rule to make it onto the tree is that it HAS TO BE CHRISTMAS. Like, Hallmark makes a lot of awesome ornaments, but many of the pop-culture ones have zero to do with showing that they came out at Christmas.

Some of my faves that I have though, are from the old Warner Bros Studio store...Pinky & the Brain...Superman...Batman...Catwoman all with Christmas bits about them.

From recent Hallmark, I LOVE the Heat and Cold Mizers from Year Without Santa. Have so many more though.

I have every Trek one made except maybe three of them.
I also recently started buying super hero ones and various others. My tree is only them.

You're gonna need a bigger tree.

My parents helped me start my Christmas ornament collection since I was ten or so. They got me some cool things, like the light-up Star Trek and Star Wars ships. A Millennium Falcon. Voyager. The Defiant. An X-Wing. One of the Imperial shuttles. Also, a ton of Peanuts and Loony Tunes characters, the Grinch, the 60s Batmobile, other Star Wars things (like Ewoks, the Max Rebo band, Luke with a lightsaber) and other random things.

Later on, I bought a few more on my own accord: the BTTF DeLorean, Catwoman, and I forget what else.

When I was a kid, my parents would get me a new ornament every year. A good number of them are characters from movies or shows.

As an adult, I've continued getting at least one a year, often more, usually movie-related. I have several Star Wars, and every Godzilla one.

This year, in addition to the Big G, I have my eyes on Hallmark's Ripley w/ Powerloader. I hope it looks good next to the crouching Alien that came out a few years ago. That's why I skipped last year's Predator; they weren't in scale to each other.

I was fortunate to pick up the "Nightmare Before Christmas" Tree (with skull base) quite a few years ago. It stands approx 2 ft high.
It's decorated with little painted (plaster?) figures of all the characters from the film. It was my Daughters and now my Grand-daughters favourite Christmas decoration.

Like a few others here, my parents would get each of us kids a new ornament for Christmas every year. When I got my first job, I went out and bought the Halmark ornaments of Obi Wan and Jango Fett the year they were released. Since then, I buy one or more Hallmark movie-related ornament each year. It’s sad because I haven’t had room for a Christmas tree in my apartment since moving to Madison almost 4 years ago. I could make room, but it’s just not very practical. My mom and sister keep making fun of me that once I do get a tree, it will be peppered with Star Wars, Batman, Looney Tunes, Christmas Story, and random other movie ornaments with nothing else. I have close to 40 ornaments if not more. Last year, I was able to get the BvS Batmobile and trio of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman on clearance for $7 each as well as a Mockingjay logo off eBay for $8. I really want a tree.

Recently made a list of all my ornaments. I have 95 of them. Also one of my favorite things I have is the TARDIS tree topper I made.

Count me in. Star Trek, Star Wars and some other movie related ornaments. I usually get about 5 or so a year. Not all the Star Wars but usually the Original Trilogy stuff at least. I havent counted them, but Ive been doing that for about 20 years or so.

I purchased the Simpsons Christmas relatated items. I put up a Simosons tree every year. My tree topper is an empty can of Duff Energy drink.

I got this year's Godzilla. Totally underwhelmed. It's a generic Showa Godzilla sculpt, and they dropped the sound and lights. Meijer carries them, for fellow midwestern folk.

Look into getting a slim tree. It's a full tree with lights, but has a smaller circumference than most. It works well in our house, which is small with limited storage.

I'm waiting for the Hallmark ornaments to go 75% off at my local store. I have three that I want to get for myself (Rey, Aquaman, and Aladdin & Jasmine on the magic carpet) and Michonne for my sister. They have at least 8 of each still left. It's been aggravating going in and seeing them still only at 50% each week, lol.

I've started collecting Hallmark ornaments this year. My cousin surprised me tonight, with the Darth Vader and R2-D2 ones. Glory to God for loving and thoughtful relatives.

Yeah I have that too! I think that came from the defunct Suncoast Video chain that was in malls.

My addiction to Hallmark Christmas ornaments is growing faster than Audrey the plant's appetite in "Little Shop of Horrors". These came in the mail today, courtesy of Amazon. I plan on buying more every month, but I'm quickly running out of space on my tree.
