Default The Great Escape ( Steve McQueen, James Garner, Richard Attenborough)

The Great Escape needs to be released on 4K UHD. The Blu-ray was horrible DNR'ed, I saw it on my 55' TV and I never pick up on DNR.

I agree, this is one of my all time favorite movies and I was disappointed with the results on the Blu-Ray release. The movie does indeed feel soft and flat I think the studios involved could do better when we know they can as we've seen better work for similar era movies.

Just watched my uk steel for first time since getting my 4k oled, and WOW it looks horrible... wasnt so bad on my old setup in 55 inch 1080p, but 65 inch 4k it looks downright awful. No detail at all. Honestly a few of my dvds upscaled better to 4k than it did. Studio Really needs to do this in 4k hdr cause as is i didn't even enjoy watching it.
