Steelbook is listed as region free but the amaray blu ray 3D is listed as region 2. It's a Lions Gate distribution so I'm not certain if it's indeed region free or not now.

Do they distribute the film in North America too though? If yes, then it could be region free since they'll get all sales revenue across both markets anyways. If they only have European country distribution rights, then each studio that has distribution rights is just being protective of their respective investment. They aren't exactly a-holes in that regard.

That doesn't matter. Even if Lionsgate US and UK have rights, then both still region lock the BD. I don't know why they just don't produce a Region AB disk but for some reason they don't.
