I am getting a PS4. My PS3 died and I not only need a new bluray player but also a new outlet for gaming. I got back to thinking of this game:

I loved this game growing up. My cousins and I played this all the time. It got me thinking. What is the best Baseball Game for the PS4?

God, I put so many hours into Ken Griffey baseball. Not only was it a great game in itself, but was great too because as an Expos fan they were loaded that year.

I can not recall anything about the teams besides I played it all the time.

it was the only sports game I dominated at...lol. I still have my hand written score sheet back from '91 or '92..lol. I won 99-0 against the computer. Just tried it again a few months ago on My NES clone & yep...still got it.

(& I don't even use the pitch the ball to hit the batter technique either) ;-)

The Show is always great every year. Has pretty much everything.

A while back, I grabbed Super Mega baseball when it was on sale for cheap; It is a straight up arcade baseball game, no sim at all and it has been a blast, just cartoon baseball craziness

To me, this was one of the best, if not the best baseball game ever. MLB The Show 17 is amazing though.

Baseball Stars - NES. That game was way ahead of its time!

Yes , I've owned it for close to a year. The sequel comes out next year (originally scheduled for this fall but now delayed). I would argue that it is not a straight up arcade game, it's much more realistic and deeper than it looks. You can play a full season, edit your roster and has full stat keeping.

I used to play the Sega Master System's "Great Baseball" game all of the time growing up.

For PS4, I need to buy a new baseball game. Yes, I heard The Show is a great series.

Baseball Stars and Baseball Simulator were my all-time favorites as a kid. Also put many hours into the first Bases Loaded.

High Heat Baseball on PS2 was also very fun to play.
