Yeah, it's a terrible adaptation and I left the cinema feeling a little violated. That aside, I did enjoy it at least a little. I think that stems largely from Matthew McConaughey's unapologetically hammy performance as The Man in Black.

As we walked out I told my wife while it may have been a DECENT film adaptation the only saving grace for me was Matts performance as the man black.
