Default Service Plan/buy player from Amazon plan from Sony

I am shopping for a blu-ray player Sony 550
I will buy from Amazon.com, there price is the lowest.
I want to purchase a service plan directly from Sony.

This can be done according to Sony Rep. After you receive the
player call Sony: 1-866-618-5776 They will sell you the plan
at a slightly higher price than what you would have paid if you had purchased directly from them.

You still will pay less

Yeah I just called them about the same situation. I want to buy a tv from a sears cuz they had the one I want the cheapest. I called sony and they would gladly sell me a service plan, but didn't mention that it was a little more. But Im it could be that much compared to the service plan that sears had for $300.

Its really easy.just register your products on Sony website and as the one year warranty come close to being expire they will mail out there warranty plan out to you, all you have to do is just send it the paperwork that they send and the payment and you are all set.
