Netherland TDK Blu-ray SteelBook™ different from German or Canadian versions? - Blu-ray Forum

Mediadis has the Netherland TDK Blu-ray SteelBook for a very attractive price.

The cover looks like the Canadian version. Anyone know?

I guess the Swiss version is the same as the German.

Ordered, as this seems to be the best way for me to get a TDK steelbook.

Their shipping charge is very reasonable also.

The cover is indeed the same as the Canadian version. I've seen pictures of the cover on another site. The only difference is the big red "16" rating in the corner is hard coated on the cover whereas the Canadian version cover is clean of any ratings.

But is Joker on the back just like the Canadian version? I would like Heath to be part of this cool collector's item, thats why I Must get the Canadian Ver.

It's now 'keep case' only, not formerly the 'metal case'.

I'm a little confused, can someone clarify? I thought the Futureshop Canadian version had the big Heath cover on the back, but I just received my Canadian version and it has the same front and back as the Dutch.

Got it today. But it's a plastic case, not a steelbook.

I'll return it to Mediadis.
Guess I'll have to wait for amazon.de to re-stock TDK steelbook.

Dang, that means mine will also likely be plastic cases. I ordered those on Dec 12th along with Clone Wars SteelBook and they were shipped out on the 17th. I've yet to receive them.

Plastic case for me also. It was listed as SteelBook when I ordered them.

Mediadis really has nothing but bad reviews from us here.

I dont think Amazon.de will restock, although many of us hope they will

Is Mediadis really that bad? It will give me a coupon in compensation for the shipping cost I paid for returning TDK. I'm planning to pick Le Grand Bleu from Mediadis so that's OK.

Regarding TDK from amazon.de, you know what? It was available for about 10 minutes on Dec 30, I luckily found that and ordered a copy. The demand was so strong that you were allowed to pick only one copy in one order! Now TDK, 1408 and Death Proof (all steelbooks) are already on the way.

TDK on De had been coming back in stock on and off in Dec, I checked it and somehow managed to see it "in-stock". I managed to get 3 in one order. However, I havent seen it in stock in January.
