The DVDs and all the online versions of this show are 4:3 despite the fact that the entire show was shot in Widescreen and four of the episodes from Seasons 1 and 2 are available in Widescreen on a Region 2 compilation disc. This makes no sense to me, the masters are clearly available since they used them for that DVD over 10 years ago...
Even if the original music was altered, I would buy any widescreen presentation of the show in a heartbeat. |

Not only that, but in later seasons I do recall there were definite 'pan and scan' shots throughout many episodes, something I have never seen before or since with a television series.
And it was that really obvious far too smooth pan and scanning Sony was really bad at with their movies...I specifically remember how bad it was on VHS / TV airings of "The Cable Guy". |

I cannot believe I missed this - but Seasons 1-3 have now been remastered in HD 16x9
