Might buy the 1st movie on release day but will probably wait until the rest are $15 or less. I don't mind the 2nd and 3rd and would be tempted to get those at $19.99 but the 4th and 5th are garbage.

I'd upgrade these, but #'s 2 & 4 needs to have the imax format or there's no reason to upgrade those ones.

United Kingdom UK - Zoom

Zoom now has a five box set of the blu-rays up for pre-order but not the UHD's unfortunately. But what they do have a the 4K UHD up for preorder, but with an additional Bonus disc with 90 mins of material! No mention of this on the Amazon listing so presume it's unique.

https://www.zoom.co.uk/product/trans...l_download_uhd

Zavvi also has it, so presume it's the norm for UK release:

4K remastered and Dolby Atmos

Side note: Universal Pictures/Paramount Japan does put "remastered" on every catlog title in the description.. Like The Bourne Identity too...

Not a terrible price, the art is terrible tho.
May cancel the steelbook and wait on the box set dropping a little

If you take the price of the newest movie off the top then you're left with £50-ish for the four remaining TF movies, that's even better than than 2 for £30! The packaging description notes 11 discs too which is encouraging because the only thing that gives me pause is missing out on the TLK bonus disc if I buy it in the box set, but 5x BD and 5x UHD for each movie plus the TLK bonus makes 11. Sod it, ordered.

What gives me pause is the BD set is £25 and this is £80.
That's one hell of a mark up

I used the signup10 code as well so the total was £71.99. That's like £14.40 per film which i think is actually worth it.

Will these come out to the US, because all I want is the first film.

Its so far the only remotely "decent" entry in this dumpster fire of a franchise.

Bay-approved remasters confirmed from Paramount:

Quote:
“Based on the format’s encouraging physical sales and the expansion among digital providers around the world, we are ramping up our catalog releases with 4K UHD plus HDR, including the entire ‘Transformers’ library,” said Bob Buchi, president of worldwide home media distribution at Paramount Pictures. “Carefully remastered under the direction of Michael Bay, these are the ideal films to take full advantage of the format’s superior picture and sound capabilities. Consumers can expect a robust slate of films from the Paramount library to complement the full array of new releases to be offered in 4K UHD with HDR.”

Please please please let them have the IMAX ratios for Fallen and Extinction. Hell, I'm even not that bothered about the VAR on Extinction (just getting a 2.39 AR version without the shitty aliasing on the 2D Blu-ray would be nice) but denying the proper 15/70 IMAX shots in Fallen their day in 4K court would be criminal.

I coulnd agree more, to me these are still best IMAX shots in a movie ever. The "Big screen Edition" BluRay was good, but not enough for the 4K CGI also there were IMAX shots missing in the end pyramid sequence. I know because i saw the movie at the BFI IMAX in London.
