I already own the Shout Factory release. It seems they’re both using the new 4K scan from the negative so I wonder how they’ll compare, and how different they will be, if at all.

I may be swayed into buying this version too if it turns out to be better.

Any idea when preorders will go up?

All one one disc, rather than two, and obviously different packaging too. Full exploded packshot going up later today, but it's definitely a hard outer box with an Amaray and 60-page booklet inside. At the £24.99 asking price, I'd expect there to also be artcards and a poster at least!

I can't justify triple dipping for an LE but if caps show the level of improvement I'd expect from Arrow vs SF I might go in for 10 pounds or less on a standard disc barring a UHD before that happens.
