I really wish the US release had the original English dub and the French language(with English subtitles of course).

I did enjoy the movie but had problems with the US dub.

Nice! I just bought the 3D Edition (Ballerina) from Play-Asia for $20. I would t mind getting the case and digital copy for $5.

Bought the German 3D edition for under $10 a few weeks ago during one of the various Amazon.de sales (German and English Audio, with German subtitles). Long down the to watch list though

FYI, the 2D US release has a different actor (Nat Wolff) playing the male role than the German 3D release (Dane DeHann), not sure why this was necessary.

I have seen both versions. Ballerina has a totally different voice actor for Victor. The voice actor in Ballerina is better. Leap! has additional lines for Mother Superior and is voiced by Kate McKinnon to give her more of a comic feel. There are some random lines changed throughout the movie. Ballerina is the better version in my opinion. One big improvement to Leap! though is when Odette says "Let's show them why we dance" vs "Let's set Paris on fire" in Ballerina. If you've seen the movie, you know why the former is a lot more impactful.

Apparently Weinstein wanted to make the movie a little more fun. Not the first time they've made edits like this for an American release.

Kids have grown up with British shows for well over a decade now, so that would never be a problem.
