There was just a deluxe release in 4K and BD both, this news doesn't make sense.

They also have listed Now You See Me steelbook, and they have already released that before. Maybe it's just an error? A re-release of the re-release?

Not everything has to be 4k, steels will sell anyway.

The steelbooks were released a few months after the wide release so most likely the steelbook collectors already bought the more superior import steelbooks, like MantaLab, BluFans or KimchiDVD.

I’m tempted to buy the premium 4K edition but wish it had a steelbook instead of the black amaray case. I didn’t like any of the premium editions save for the Japanese steelbook which I refuse to pay $200-$300 for on eBay.

All of the premium editions were 2K and other than Manta all the slips were white and colorful and didn’t fit the film IMO. This more conservative, bookish design is a much better fit. I hate to pay another $30 for a box and book but if it came with a steel I would definitely buy.

I'm guessing it will be like the Deadpool release, in that it shows a release date already passed, but will eventually show up with the "add to cart"...
