OK guys I was in Sams club last night and picked up the movie traitor, I thought it didn't come out until the 19th whats up with that?

Um, no. It came out Tuesday.

Not a bad flick, but I feel repeat value was pretty low.

Probably a mistake by an employee. There aren't many titles that get released on a friday, so they probably didnt realize it wasn't supposed to be out.

Hope you enjoy it, it's a pretty decent spy thriller.

Hmmm, could be. I saw it out this week, which is why I assumed it was a Tuesday release with the rest. And like you mentioned, Friday releases are pretty rare. Maybe it was put out early where I saw it too?

Blockbuster had it listed as the 19th but maybe folks just put it out on Tuesday with the other new releases in those stores...

The commercial came on late last night saying the 19th also, this is the second store that I've been too that has had it out already, this isn't the 1st movie I've seen put on the shelf early,but I thought stores could get into trouble if ever reported.Just curious.

There is already a thread for Traitor.
So if you would have posted there you would have noticed that ..

The release date was moved last minute to Tuesday.
And when I say last minute, I mean last minute.
At 11:00am on tuesday we got the ok to place it for rent and sale

Aw well that sucks, I was at Wal-Mart and Best Buy yesterday and didn't find it anywhere.

Not bad. I saw it in theatres and was entertained, but have no interest in revisiting it anytime soon. Rental would be my suggestion.

Netflix listed it as a 12/19 release and they are shipping it to me today.
