Contributing without Amazon ASIN

I have a walmart exclusive bluray with its own UPC. Under the UPC is another UPC that belongs to that bluray and is already here in the database. I wanted to add the bluray as a walmart exclusive edition which came with different art and a book. Would I use the walmart upc? If not how would I add this edition since the UPC is already in the database and amazon doesn't have this version so there isn't an ASIN?

I've also had 0 luck having any contribution I have submitted approved without having an amazon ASIN number included even though I have the DVD in my hand and adding the UPC directly as it appears on the box. Do the reviewers rely that heavily on Amazon? I only ask cause I have different editions of movies not in the database but they share amazon ASIN numbers that are already in the database and I am wondering how I can submit those and get them approved. Thanks.

ASIN isn't required. Which title are you referring to and can you post a picture?

That's what I submitted a long with a few other submissions but I have had 0 submissions without amazon ASIN approved. It could be I am doing something else wrong but as far as I can tell I'm contributing them the same way I did the accepted submissions.

I've had many contributions accepted without the ASIN, so maybe it's something else.

Did you receive a notification that those had been rejected and if so was there any reason mentioned in the notification?

This is a Walmart exclusive version with special front cover art includes a coloring book inside the case.

I haven't received any notifications of rejections. I've had other submissions approved after the ones that haven't been approved so I don't believe they would still be sitting in queue but I also don't know their process. Just trying to make sure I am doing things right so everybody's time isn't getting wasted.

Unfortunately, the site doesn't show the status of pending contributions for new profiles.

Sometimes I've had latter submissions approved before earlier ones, but I've noticed that if a particular title has been reviewed, regardless to edition, on this site then the contribution approvals are approved by the reviewer vice the site admin. Due to multiple factors, sometimes it can take longer for those contributions to be approved.

Also, it may also help to paste the URL in the comment/source field next to the retailer exclusive field to avoid any issues with rejections.

In terms of the WM exclusive version of Killer Klowns, I just tried submitting a profile for this version, based on the UPC, and this is the message I received:

A movie with that title and country has already been submitted and is pending approval by a site administrator.

Therefore, it appears your contribution is still pending approval.
