Default new seasons

why is now new seasons of tv shows only coming out on dvd now and not blu ray anymore.

the following hasn't coming out to blu ray only to dvd so far

sleepy hollow season 3 and 4
theres others but I cant think of them right now

Most don't sell well enough. Many series start out being released on blu and dvd and end up after a season or two being released only on dvd. Studios seem to be tightening their belts as well with less releases and less getting digital copies included. Ya it sucks for collectors to mixed format to complete sets.

And more and more shows are becoming available on the various streaming services so shiny discs aren't really necessary anymore. I prefer shiny discs myself, but the market is moving away from discs to streaming.
