Default So when do we get universal connection(max?)

Im talking about cross game chat, not going off line when watching a movie, knowing what movie your freinds are watching (optional of course) ect. these little will make the ps3 online experience better.

Max is there any way you can relay this information to sony? do they even know that these things are highly wanted? are they even working on it? your the only one with the connections around here so maby you can help us out.

Also is it true that microsoft has a patent on these things that keeps anybody else from copying it in such a way?

I just think the ps3 online community will feel more connected if we get these features.

How about max talks to capcom and tells them to fix the online in SF2HD Remix first. Ive played 2 or 3 matches online and ive tried to get into matches over 50+ times so far. I just tried again and no go. This is ridiculous. Ive never even seen any lag online with the XBLA version. To recap, i cannot even JOIN matches on the PSN version, and the XBLA version plays flawlessly online. Ontop of all this, no trophies. I hate the US division of capcom so much.

I'm not sure about the video stuff, it could have all sorts of privacy connotations that SCE wouldn't want to get involved with.

As for other community stuff, well obviously the centrepiece is Home from now on, and a lot of community based improvements will be to Home. I have heard about cross-game chat and invites, as well as a universal party system but I don't think the PSN guys would want me to spoil any big reveal they might have planned.

On to SF2. Well at least you have the damn game in the US, it isn't even on the EU PSN! We have to wait until SCEE bloody give it the go ahead for all countries. Apparently their standards are higher and they have blocked its release until the netcode is up to scratch. So once Capcom fix it for PAL, expect a patch for the US version.

I tried it at a friends on 360, but the D-Pad sucks, so I'm stuck waiting for the PS3 version.

You arent missing anything, the online is a disaster. I have every port open for the PS3 on my router as per recommended by sony as well. I have a PS2 arcade stick and have adapters for PS3 and 360, looking to get the gamecube adapter soon for TvC on the wii (cannot believe im buying an adapter for a single stupid fighter, why cant capcom just port it to the PSN??).

p.s. - I like home a lot more then i did before. Yesterday, i was just sitting down and someone came over to talk to me, we got into a conversation, and more people joined. This cannot be done on any other console on earth. I think once they get things rolling, Home will be a lot more respectable then it is now, in its sad state.

Well displaying what your watching under your name would be optional, or is that something they cant do?

At least there thinking about cross game chat features i hope.

Well to me that is just a "sorta cool" thing to have. But honestly, I don't know that I would really care either way.
