Thanks for the post - I had an order with Amazon at $37 but it hadn't shipped yet so I re-ordered and cancelled the old one!

How is this set different from the one released in 2008? Is it just different packaging, same discs?

They're both 15 discs, so I think it's just the packaging. The product listing does say it comes with the book, which filmaf.com also lists -- it seems like that would be dropped, but I guess not. The old packaging on ebay has really high shipping costs, so I assume it's heavy and over-sized.
