Holy bad timing!! My order for the Target exclusive lenticular already shipped, but I MUST get this steelbook to match last year's movie! Why was there so little advance notice of this steelbook?

Guess I'll just return the Target in store.

Going to be pretty limited. My store only got 4 so others may have gotten only 2-3.

This will be popular too because this is Adam West's last film, and as Batman.

Well, I got my order in. It would be great if Best Buy is going to be carrying the DC animated steels from now on. I’d much rather be able to keep ordering them online rather than having to get to Target first thing hoping to grab one.

I went ahead and ordered one of these just in case I can't get one on release day.

I was going to get the Target lenticular exclusive.Since they didn't get the steelbook,I figured there was no steelbook in the U.S. until the confirmation that Best Buy would have it.So i'll get the steelbook then.Still getting the Target exclusive for Spider-Man Homecoming(bonus content on disk trumps packaging for me) and the Stranger Things Target exclusive release.

Weird that the Steelbooks went from Target to Best Buy. Anyone know why? (And why Target apparently opted to go for a lenti slip instead?)

I came to the conclusion that Target loss their exclusive rights to the DC Animated films steelbooks. The last was available everywhere EXCEPT Target. Now starting with this one and future ones they are Best Buy exclusives. The last one with Justice League, my guess again, is that they just didn't have a contract in time to exclusively drop it at a certain retailer hence why Amazon had it with Best Buy.

I'm doing the exact same thing tomorrow. Since I can't get there first thing in the morning, I'll put my orders for pickup first thing in the morning or late tonight.

I was wondering about this as well. While Batman/Two-Face is sourced from the TV show, versus soemthing that happened directly in the comics(like the bulk of the DCU line) and Batman/Harley Quinn was not a Target exclusive.
I guess we should find out soon with Gotham By Gaslight preorders.
The good news seems to be the DCU line, and all it’s various exclusives is here to stay. So good job to all the fan support!

My Best Buy store had these out on display already yesterday. I knew what would happen if I tried to buy one. I did it anyway and the register wouldn't allow it.

My store had about 8 copies. Every single one of them had a line going horizontally completely across the entire front cover. I hoped it was just the first copy from being crammed in the shelf display, but it was clearly visible on every steelbook.

I moved around the plastic wrap to make sure it wasn't just the plastic wrap with the line. Nope. It looked like every single copy had a scratch underneath the wrap. It reminded me of the Beauty and the Beast Steelbook I bought from BB that had an unboxing scratch on the spine under the plastic wrap.

I don't understand how this happened on the lower front cover. A couple had the scratches just about a centimeter away from the others. I should have taken pictures with my phone.

I placed an order online for shipping and it shipped already. We will see. It looked like a manufacturing error. I feel like it could be an issue for some, but I really hope I'm wrong.

I'll look for it tomorrow before I buy a copy.
