Another one I can cross off my Blu list

I did not like this movie the first time I watched it. However, its one that has stuck in my mind for over ten years and I've never forgotten it. Almost pulled out the DVD several weeks ago but now I will certainly wait. Kino generally does a pretty good job with transfers I am hoping? This one should be good and grainy.

Penn's movies are all gems in my mind; challenging, thoughtful and with heart. Story and acting always at the forefront. I think he is one of the best directors around.

I whole-hearted agree with you. He does not get enough credit for the movies he directs.

This release keeps slipping unfortunately

It was originally August, then was listed as September, now the end of Oct. Oh well, it will be worth the wait.

Definitely. And doesn't even include his best, in my opinion, The Crossing Guard.

It's the same list-price as every other KL title. I paid $14.53 from DD during their last sale.

Watched this film on Kanopy. The acting was superb although I found the plot to be a little dry at times. I thought that Sandy Dennis and Valeria Golino were underused but it was awesome seeing Charles Bronson in such a tender acting role, particularly at a time when he was relegated to mainly doing B-list action movies. I think the site review gives an accurate representation of the film itself.
